EB-2 NIW: what to consider in your planning.

The National Interest Waiver is a waiver of the job offer and labor certification within the EB-2 category. The analysis requires meeting the EB-2 basis and showing the grounds for a national interest waiver.
Education, experience, and the professional project need to be reviewed together. At the consultation, present the work you intend to do, what you have already accomplished, and which documents help explain your contribution. A list of certificates, by itself, does not replace a review of the case.
Do I need a sponsoring company?
The NIW allows self-petition when its requirements are met. That does not remove the eligibility analysis or the other immigration steps.
How to prepare for the first meeting
Organize your résumé, education, and a description of the intended project. The team will tell you what needs to be presented and which questions need a closer look.
